About the magazine:
Croatian Public Administration publishes scientific and professional papers, infor-mation, and other texts dealing with the issues of public administration from different aspects. Papers on topical issues of public administration, administrative science, and administrative law are particularly eligible for publishing.
Instruction to authors:
Authors can submit their papers to be reviewed. These may be categorised as:
– original scientific paper
– review scientific paper
– preliminary scientific report
– professional paper.
Papers submitted to categorisation must receive two anonymous reviews (with-out author’s name). Reviewers are renowned international and Croatian scientists and university teachers, and at least one reviewer comes from abroad. Reviewers’ remarks are delivered to the authors anonymously (without reviewers’ names), unless a reviewer has asked that his/her name be available to the author(s).
Certain texts (depending on the author’s wishes or the editor’s assessment), information, book reviews, as well as court and administrative practice do not undergo review.
The papers are published in Croatian or in English, and exceptionally in other foreign languages (Slovene, German, French, and Italian). The Editorial Board shall provide that the majority of papers and other texts are in Croatian, as well as ensure the translations of texts or longer summaries into Croatian.
The Editorial Board receives only unpublished papers not more than one year old. The papers should be submitted via e-mail or on an IBM compatible disc. Three (3) printed copies are required. Papers should be submitted without the author’s name. Biographical notes about the author(s) should accompany the manuscript on a separate cover page and should contain author’s first name, surname, professional title or academic degree, occupation, job title, name of the institution/company of employment, e-mail address, web page, and the data necessary for the payment of the author’s fee (bank account number, address, and personal tax number).
Papers submitted to categorisation should not exceed 32 typed double-spaced pages (57,600 signs). Other texts should not exceed 16 typed double-spaced pages (28,800 signs). News, reports from professional and scientific conferences, and book reviews should not exceed eight (8) typed double-spaced pages (14,400 signs). One typed double-spaced page contains 1,800 signs.
Papers must be accompanied by an abstract of approximately 150 words at the be- ginning of the manuscript and by a summary of approximately 300 words (translation into English or into Croatian is provided by the Editorial Board or by the author), and a list of key words (up to seven (7). Abstract and summary should be written in the third person singular and should contain a short description of the paper’s contents.
The title of the paper should be concise and informative.
